I have been diagnosed and my experience is very similar. You are very lucky, other studies and medical journals I have read in indicated that many people spontaneously internally bleed, and often die below 10,000 platelets. Just my experience, not giving any medical advice here. Considering I had blood Surveillance every three months for type one diabetes leading directly up to the point where I receive the vaccine and after the vaccine. I dropped to 4000 platelets. FYI.

No actually I didn’t really notice the rash cause I’m kind of freckly and my dogs are always scratching me and so I didn’t really pay attention to it. What happened to me as I nearly died I went into a seizure so bad that I had to be put into a coma to be putting in the ambulance and I had only 4000 platelets in my blood Something that’s not usually survivable. Because I’m a type one diabetic I had Surveillance on my blood every 3 to 6 months going back five years and I was always in the teens above 300,000 platelets that is until I received the government endorsed emergency vaccine so I could go to a restaurant boy I wish I could change my decision on that. After the second shot, my roommate who is an RN nurse practitioner heard me screaming and came running into my side of the house and found me in the seizure. His son was also there and he is an EMT an and he was able to get me through as my diaphragm began to seize, and I could not breathe. I pray for everyone. I’ve lived the dangerous life already and I kinda was looking forward to chilling out my last 10 to 15 years. Now I’m at the hospital twice a week and I can’t do any of the things that I enjoy because I’m too tired, blah blah blah but seriously there are a lot of people worse off than I so I feel blessed. Good people are trying to help. Do you have any suggestions?

Severe Fatigue

I have complained to my hematologist for over a year and he never mentioned that this is a very common side effect of my chronic ITP. My primary care Dr. prescribed an amphetamine 2 times a day. Prior to this prescription I was so exhausted. I was spending 3 to 4 days in bed per week. This treatment has been revolutionary for me. My question is, is it common for hematologists to miss this very common symptom of ITP? Are there any other symptoms that I should be aware of? Has anyone else used… read more

Thank you I am aware that I cannot take any NSAIDs whatsoever. I did look up an N said that has the least amount of gastrointestinal problems like bleeding and irritation was Celebrex. I’m not on that payroll. It’s just something I came across. Does anyone else experience very noticeable shoulder or hip pain coexistent with their diagnosis and not before?
