She gets terrible headaches and nausea about 24 hours after the treatment and I’m looking for some insight to how I can best help her. Is there anything to do besides just giving her regular aspirin and letting her rest that can be done to help with the headaches?

I get the excruciating headaches as well from the IVIg treatments. They’re horrible. My last hospitalization neurology came to see me and gave me a steroid and something else concoction that actually worked. I will try to find out exactly what it was and share as this was a game changer for me. I’ve also been prescribed Ubrelvy which is a migraine medication. That helps to relieve the headache better than anything they’ve given me once you already have it. Before that, the only thing that gave me a few hours of relief was morphine. But they don’t like giving that.

I have been using the above meds and have been rushed to hospital twice within 8 months with sepsis and double pneumonia. I genuinely think if I had left it a couple of days I wouldn’t be here! I came of the. Biologics because I was going to try a different one. Then stopped the methotrexate because I was on antibiotics and steroids. I have been off both for well over a month. I am now debating not going back on both the biologics and methotrexate, as I am now very scared I will not be so… read more
