while complete remission from ITP can occur as in your case, there's always a possibility of recurrence. However, having a 13-year remission is a very positive sign. The risk of relapse tends to be highest within the first year after achieving remission, and decreases significantly after that. While I can't give you an exact percentage, your long period of stable remission suggests a lower risk of recurrence. Continue regular check-ups with your hematologist and watch for any signs like unusual bruising or bleeding.
