Wow. We have a lot of similar things going on. I’m a 61 year-old guy and I was diagnosed two years ago after receiving the required shot and I nearly died at only 4000 platelets in my blood so I have ITP I went to Mayo clinic in Minnesota for consult and their rheumatologist ran a bunch of tests on me and found that I was only two points away from a positive case of lupus which he explained was simply that I have lupus or I’ll have in a month or two months. I have no history of this. I have none of the usual causes of ITP. I have no chronic viruses whatsoever and I was even checked for Lyme disease and 36 other known thick viruses. I’m a type one diabetic and I’ve had spinal surgery from a car accident but other than that, I was doing great. My life has been destroyed. I complained to my hematologist for over a year about the fact that my shoulders was so painful that I could barely get on a shirt. He kind of just looked at me like blankly never really answered my question. Mayo Clinic, that was the first question I asked could ITP cause severe debilitating pain in the shoulders and they claim to me the three specialists with the director of the department that it is a common side effect to have C of severe pain in the joints. Their words not mine. Don’t take anything I put on here as medical advice check with the doctors, of course. My question is are there any homeopathic treatment treatments that improve the symptoms of this condition and increase platelets?
ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia) is an autoimmune condition where your immune system attacks your platelets, causing low platelet counts. Having both Lupus and ITP is not uncommon since they're both autoimmune conditions. The symptoms you're experiencing (joint pain, bruising, numbness) can be related to both conditions working together.
Treatment should be coordinated between your doctors since having both conditions can affect treatment choices. The bruising you mention is a classic ITP symptom that needs monitoring. Stay in touch with your healthcare team, especially if bruising increases or new symptoms develop.
When you have both ITP and Lupus, here's what happens:
Your immune system attacks both platelets (ITP) and various body tissues (Lupus)
The combination can cause:
More severe bruising and bleeding issues
Increased joint pain and inflammation
Higher risk of blood clotting problems
More fatigue than either condition alone
Your symptoms (joint pain, bruising, numbness) may be from both conditions working together. With diabetes too, it's extra important to:
- Keep all doctor appointments
- Monitor bruising closely
- Report new symptoms quickly
- Follow treatment plans carefully
