taking Vitamin K supplements (100 mcg daily) has not been proven to increase platelet counts in ITP patients. ITP is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks platelets - this process isn't affected by Vitamin K. For managing ITP, it's best to work with your hematologist on proven treatments.
